On Monday night we went to Nurse Betty in the Lower East Side then stopped in Black Betty in Brooklyn. 2 Betties one cup!

For Jimmy’s birthday, his parents gave him a record player. It’s prolly one of the best presents he’s ever received. The design of the player is so cool, especially the levers. We’ve already hit the local record shops and scoured ebay to build a collection. Come over sometime and listen to good tunes with us.
Friday night, we saw M.I.A. play at McCarren Pool.
The show was better than expected — especially when she played her song called Jimmy. It was a great way to kick off the summer.
Season 5 of Lost is going to be awesome:
It’s not easy to find good crab rangoon in New York but we found some at a place called East Met West. It’s still doesn’t compare to crab rangoon from Kansas but it’s still excellent.
Today is FREE ICED COFFEE DAY at Dunkin Dounuts.
Last night, Liz, KB and Jimmy saw The Teenagers play at Williamsburg Hall of Music.
The Teenagers have funny voice-overs during their songs about fashion and things. They don’t take themselves too seriously (they list “puberty” and “party” as some of their influences). If you like to laugh while listening to your post-new-wave, this is the band for you.
After the show, we went to the after party at Studio B — is a total eurotrash club — where we danced the night away.
