Betta Do go to a Miami Vice party
Last Friday we attended a 80’s-themed party in the East Village. The apartment was hot, crowded and there wasn’t even any 80’s music playing. But we still had a good time.

Good one Jamie!
The long and short of the story is this: we saw what turned out to be Edwin McCain at The Turkey’s Nest, one of Brooklyn’s classier drinking establishments, but came to the conclusion his name was Shawn Mullins (of Lulluby fame). Jamie made the rash decision to confront him on the matter and was deflected with the truth but being the persistent person she is continued to accuse him of being called Shawn.

Tonight Jimmy and KB saw the Beasties play at McCarren Pool. They started off with “Hello Brooklyn” (item E from B-Boy Bouillabaisse), DJ Run made an appearance and all-in-all the show was great which made our decision to sell our Daft Punk tickets (they also played tonight) sit just a little better.

Last Friday, we celebrated Liz’s birthday by throwing her an Asian-theme party. We went to Sushi Lounge for dinner, then Sing Sing for karaoke and ended up at Double Happiness.
