The Ford Taurus is dead. Read the sad story here. You may recall that Jimmy drove the exact model pictured below as his vehicle of choice all through high school, and he hopes no one will ever have to endure the same experience.
This show is annoying but we had to watch when they debuted season 2 with two Brooklyn neighborhoods going head-to-head. Our neighborhood, Williamsburg, defeated Flatbush and will advance to the All City Yo Momma championships. Bring on the cash moneys.
Today we ventured to stores in the Islamic area of Brooklyn Heights in search of an authentic Shemagh but when Jimmy went to pay he realized he was carrying his brand new Bacon Wallet (we assume that bacon is somehow sacrilegious to their culture). At that point we decided not to splurge on the Islamic prayer clock shaped like Mecca and left the store.
Gawker has a map of smells reported at subway stations around NYC. The map includes funny icons and painfully descriptive phrases like “breath of a hungry old lady” to illuminate the smells.

Update 11/3: This week’s episode of 30 Rock was all about Cerie wearing skimpy outfits. Enough talk, here are some screen caps:
Katie Bowden plays Cerie on 30 Rock, Tina Fey’s new show. This girl is hot in the way Mischa Barton was in the beginning of The OC; that is to say she will only get hotter as time goes on. As an aside, 30 Rock has turned out to be pretty funny after the first 2 episodes.
We have power hour parties quite often. Since Jimmy’s coworkers were coming over for this one we decided to get mostly county songs to play for them because they are from the good ole Midwest.
Last Friday, Jamie, Liz and Austin joined us for $3 32 oz. bud heavy drinks at the Greenpoint Tavern. We made hats out of newspaper which caused all the townies in the bar to stare at us, so we paraded down Bedford Ave. in our new hipster attire.
