In 2000 all we wanted was to see Britney Spears naked. The events of today remind us that 2006 is a much different time, full of disappointments and broken dreams.

Something weird is happening on a site called EON8 ( eon8.com , eon8.net , eon8.org — you have to type it in, they block unauthorized links). The timer is counting down to tomorrow at midnight (11pm central) and there are other bizarre pages on the site. It’s unclear whether it’s a hoax (probably is), some kind of viral marketing stunt, or something real. If you want to watch an “investigation” on this site go here.

This show deals with real issues hipsters face everyday such as the struggle to find the perfect politically ironic shirt.

Jennifer Shiman from Angry Alien has done another great bunny reenactment, this time for the Superman movie from 1978. This is just in time for the release of Superman Returns which opens this coming Wednesday, June 28th.
